Mandatory annual baseline — extinguisher operation, evacuation, fire warden duties.
**Formats available:**
- **1-day refresher** (8 hours, 7 modules): $99 + $120 practical fee
**Practical assessment:** F2F mandatory — PASS extinguisher technique + evacuation drill (3 stations) at AISC Adelaide OR in-house at your service.
You will be able to
- Identify fire and emergency hazards in your care setting
- Operate a portable extinguisher using the PASS technique
- Carry out a safe evacuation including residents/clients with reduced mobility
- Describe fire warden duties and the AISC emergency response plan
- Recognise smoke, heat and gas alarms and respond per protocol
