What's covered
Standard and transmission-based precautions — hand hygiene, PPE, outbreak readiness across care settings.
**Formats available:**
- **1-day refresher** (7 hours, 5 modules): $169 + $120 practical fee
- **Comprehensive** (2 days (14 hrs), 8 modules): $289 + $120 practical fee
**Practical assessment:** F2F mandatory — UV gel + PPE practical (Day 1) + outbreak tabletop exercise (Day 2 in comprehensive format).
You will be able to
- Apply Standard Precautions consistently across care settings
- Select and apply Transmission-Based Precautions for known and suspected infections
- Demonstrate correct hand hygiene at all 5 WHO moments
- Don and doff PPE without self-contamination
- Recognise an emerging outbreak and initiate the AISC IPC escalation protocol (comprehensive format)
